In the past few years several Jamaicans have been refused entry to Trinidad and Tobago. This has created tension between both countries. In a related incident in few weeks ago, many Jamaican have reacted by calling for a boycott of products made in Trinidad and Tobago.
To put a boycott in perspective, Trinidad and Tobago export US$750 million worth of products to Jamaica. A boycott would obviously have a negative impact on Trinidadian businesses who view Jamaica as a lucrative export market.
But would a boycott actually resolve the #immigration related issues that have results in several Jamaican being refused entry to Trinidad and Tobago?
